Taller makes an app that predicts adult height and helps teens track their growth. Our guides answer the questions our users ask most, honestly, including when the honest answer is “nothing will make you taller.”

Where our information comes from

We base every guide on public health agencies (CDC, NIH, NHS), professional bodies (American Academy of Pediatrics, Endocrine Society), academic medical centers and peer-reviewed research. Each page lists the sources it relies on. Numbers about height and growth come from the CDC growth charts and national surveys, and our calculators follow the methods described on the methodology page.

What we will never claim

  • That any exercise, stretch, food, supplement, device or app can make you taller than your genetic potential, or make you grow after your growth plates have closed.
  • That anyone should use growth hormone, testosterone, steroids, peptides or other drugs without a doctor’s prescription and follow-up.
  • That a calculator result is a diagnosis. Only a doctor can assess growth problems.

How guides are written and updated

Guides are written by the Taller team from the sources cited on each page and checked against them before publishing. We review pages when guidelines or data change, and every page shows the date of its last update.

Not medical advice

Our content is for general education. If you are worried about your height, growth or puberty, talk to a pediatrician or a pediatric endocrinologist.

The Taller app

Some pages invite you to try the Taller app. That never changes what a guide says: the facts are the same whether or not you download it.
